Do Mozilla programs pose a security threat?

Partially with tongue in cheek, but you have to wonder:

If someone proves that it is possible to get into a system, yes, there is security threat. Dangerous? No, mainly because people look at the programs, and see if it is possible to circumvent the security settings. And, if they prove to Mozilla, they get a reward, $3,000 now, upped from the previous $500.
That anyone had even attempted to break in, maliciously, it is very very unlikely. Unless a security fix causes other problems, I would go ahead, because there is, always, someone, around, with time on his/her hands, up to no good.
I did not look at the specific security threat, but one fix was provoked by a 12-old fellow, who spent days looking for security threats, proved that there was one, and got his reward.
