Monospaced text (tt) is accessible from BBCode quick control bar.

I am currently using bbBBCode extension, version 0.2, in Mozilla 1.7.2 and it is a very nice addition, especially its ability to post a URL line from a line in the clipboard. The homepage is jedbrown.net - el gringo. The author states that it is suitable for Firefox/Mozilla Suite/Netscape 7.x . Mozilla Update also lists this extension but offers the 0.1.2 version for Mozilla 1.7 and the 0.2 version for Firefox. It is listed as a top download both for Mozilla and Firefox, although I can not vouch for the firefox usage.

It is very handy for easily inserting most of the BBCodes.

Cool! sounds like a great tool! I am 95% sure it won't work for our unique tt [tt]monospaced text (teletype)[/tt].

No, it certainly does not offer the specialized codes used here at SillyDog. It concentrates on the basic codes like bold, italic, underline, size, and color. Just highlight the text you want changed and pick your font characteristic. It also makes it easy to get the BBCodes for code, URL, image, and quote.

[Edit: See my uninstall warning found in the thread, Spellcheck for Netscape Navigator, before deciding to install any extensions.]
