Does alt tag work in 7.02?

Can any NS 7.02 users tell me if alt tag text is displayed when rolling over an image? I realize "title" is for this purpose but many sites and NEOMAIL still use the alt tag for tool tips. Sure would be nice.

ALT does not display a tooltip with N7.02 (or any other Gecko based product I know of), as this is not what ALT is designed for.
