What Netscape version are you tring to download? Where from? The Netscape Browser Archive? What OS are you tring to install Netscape to?
If you are saing you are downloading a BIN file, most likely it's a Mac OS file. If you want to install Netscape on Windows, you'll be downloading an EXE file.

You need Stuffit Expander to open the .Bin files on the Macintosh. You can download for that version of Mac OS along with a Netscape build (the .bin) and burn both to CD.

Hi, Mandrake, could you please expand on that a bit? It sounds like the same thing I'm trying to do.
A: Stuffit Expander? What is it?
B: ...download for that version of Mac OS along with a Netscape build...?
C: ...burn both to CD? Where? How?
Thanks in advance!

StuffIt Expander is a free software to uncompress .sit files, a popular compression in Mac environment. It is also available for Windows.

Is there another source for Stuffit? After giving credit card info, etc, it redirects to another site that's 404... or does it just do that when you ask for the 15 day free trial?

there are two versions, one requires the credit card for the trial, the other one does not. And do note that only the compressor is payware, stuffit expander is free.
