dreamweaver layers + css + + draggable + scrollbar

Postby niixxx » Mon 21 Feb, 2005 11:32 am

Hi, I really need some help, because this is driving me crazy...

I'm working in Dreamweaver and all I want is a layer (<div>) with a css applied to it. That's no problem, but I want the text to be scrollable and at the same time the entire layer to be draggable when the user clicks in the upper side of the layer...

Now i have the layer, I have the stylesheet, I have the drag layer behaviour, but somehow when putting it all together it fails miserably. Thats probably also got something to do with the fact that i dont really know where to link the css to the layer (is it in the div tag, in the p tag, or where else??)... or is there an entirely other way to do this?

please someone help me out with this!

Hello niixxx,

You will need to define a layer area first.

Can you create a layer from the toolbar (select "Layout" from the pull down menu), then the third button (Draw Layer).

Then, you need to select layer and open Behaviours (Shift + F4), and apply desired behaviours into it.

You might need to download some behaviours from Macromedia website.
