Does anyone know which is the earliest version of Netscape that will work ok on windows 98? I am using the new Mozilla but would like to have the oldest version also.
Thanks....... RedZL600

Hmmm...there are probably a lot of really old ones that are at least partially compatible, so it depends on what you mean...

I believe all Netscape (Windows 32bit) would work all right under Windows 98, since Windows 98 has no much difference to Windows 95.

Any Win32 browser Netscape and Mozilla has made will work on Win 98. Win16 is another matter.

As far as I know, the Win16 versions should also work on Win98, with the possible exception of 1.0 (Wouldn't work under Windows NT 4.0's 16 bit subsystem, although YMMV on Win98).
