I have a problem with the mail program... I wonder if anybody else has seen this...

I have "check for new mail at start up" enabled under the mail and newsgroup settings. When I launch the mail program, I go to my primary profile inbox and my password box comes up. I enter my password, but NS doesn't poll my IP. It just takes my password and closes the box. I must click on the "Get Msgs" button to download my mail. What is up with that? This occurs with all three profiles which I have set up. Mail seems to work fine, otherwise.

Many thanks,
Sisyphus

I would guess that it only checks if you have new messages but did not download it for you.
In my case it does not download automatically for me for the primary email, I have to click Get Msgs as well. However all other accounts will automatically download new messages for me the time when I entered password.
