email from God

Postby Antony » Sat 04 Dec, 2004 5:32 am

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behaviour that was going on. He decided to send an angel down to Earth to check it out. So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.
When he returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not."
God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion." So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time too.
When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good." God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because He wanted to encourage them. Give them a little something to help them keep going.
Do you know what the e-mail said?

Just wondering, I didn't get one either ...

Dear Lorraine:

You are one of the chosen 5% of people on earth that don't misbehave, along with a few others that visit Sillydog701.
We are happy to have you in this special 5% group.

Lorraine, It would be nice to see you using a different browser though.
In fact you have another browser, and I would appreciate you
using it in the future, as I don't want you catching a virus.

Peace on earth and good will to all.

Sincerely,
Angel#1

By the way, I am not paving my way to heaven.

Keith: Listen now, I'll tell you once, but ...

People are not very nice on earth, they are always misbehaving, cheating, stealing, murdering, fighting, wars, killing, swearing, they are really not very nice people.

God wasn't happy when he sent an Angel to really check it out and she went back and told God, 95% are are misbehaving (that means not being good) and 5% are good. God wasn't happy so he sent another Angel to earth and she reported back saying, yes, 95% are misbehaving and 5% are good, so God was very displeased.
He decided to send an email to each person in the 5% that were good because he wanted to encourage them.

Then Antony asked if anyone knew what was in the email?
Because he has been misbehaving and he wanted to know what was in the email. He wasn't in the 5 % of good people.

Get it now, Keith? lol

I answered, because I received an email.
You want to know why I received an email?

Because I didn't misbehave like Antony does !
