I have also the same problem, and also when i try to reinstall the 6.02 Version of netscape.

First of all, Netscape 6 is full of bugs, and obsolete. Please consider Netscape 7.0, as it is much more stable.
Secondly, the jar50.dll error is a bug, and you can read the details in Bug Report 167515
There is a conflict with Windows XP SP1 and Mozilla/Netscape.
