I did not check which extention I have in either program. I have the same sequence as yours. and, as I said Transfer is greyed out in Eudora, but only if you don't select a message. I have not tried to make any changes in my headers, but it should be doable clicking the small icon to the far right of Who|Date|click to sort by size|subject. Changes remain after restarting. I don't see any reason to make changes, though.

As an aside, I noticed the first major difference between TB with the Penelope addon and Eudora 8.0b1. The header, on the top list of column which was Sender, has no name in TB with Penelope, but it says that it is Sender with mouseover. In Eudora the column is called "Who".
In newsgroups, if I send a post in TB , it will show my name in the Sender column, but there will be a blank when I read it in Eudora. So, if a post has no name, it is me.

My "Transfer" is also grayed out unless I have a mail selected. I think that is the way that it should be.

I have STATUS|PRIORITY|ATTACHMENTS|TAGS|WHO|SUBJECT|SIZE|DATE as the headers. I have tried to unselect PRIORITY and TAGS, and rearrange the order that I want whats left displayed, i.e. STATUS, ATTACHMENTS, WHO, DATE, SUBJECT, SIZE. That works until I close or restart Eudora, then I get the default as listed above. Not a big deal, and for now, things are working well.

I don't do news with Eudora, but use Firefox for feeds.

Thanks all the same . . .

I confirmed the returns of Tags and Priority, even though I deleted all tags from the Preferences.
As for news, I must use a mail program for some newsgroups.
