Export/import bookmarks

Is there any way to import bookmarks from 7.01 into Communicator 4.8?
I've got something going on with computer here, not sure what it is - having to revert back to Communicator however.

No need to import/export. Rename the Netscape 7.01 bookmarks.html file to bookmark.htm, copy, then paste into the Netscape 4.8 Users\username folder.

How bout the IE favourites.When I first installed Netcsape the IE Favourites were imported.As I occaisionally add favourites if I use IE,how can one import them at a later date?

If you use both Netscape and Internet Explorer on a regular basis, consider getting bookmark software that can be used by both.

Let us know if renaming worked, because it has not always been successful for me. Windows was telling me that the file would become unstable, and, that's as far as it went. But, it has worked sometimes.

Hi,
Open the bookmark manager manager in communicator and the go to file then import then go to the directory of your netscape 7.01 profile and find the file named bookmark or bookmark.htm and open it and your bookmarks will be copied into netscape communicator.
