If it's a email client program I'd pick Netscape 7.x for storing emails. It used to be Eudora. As for webmail, I'd go for Yahoo! Mail, which I use regularly. I used to use Netscape! Mail about a year ago and beyond, but that's no longer reliable.

4.0 email

Postby dogmom » Sun 22 Aug, 2004 6:49 pm

I like Netscape 4.0. It is the only email program that lets me opt to quote or not for each email since for some reason I don't like to see the email that I just read be re-sent. I dont see any advantage of the newer NS email programs!?
I also have a Netscape webmail account but dont check it more than 1x a week!

I use Mozilla 1.7.3 for now. When Thunderbird goes 1.0 I will probably give that a shot. Previously I used OE6. I really liked Poco but didn't think it was worth buying when I can do the same without. I used to use Incredimail too...untill I learned a little more about it.

I have used many email clients over the years but since I have started using Thunderbird I have not looked back. I have found it to be wonderful

When Thunderbird went 1.0 I started using it and have since. I may go back to Mozilla when it goes 1.8 though as I like the browser/email client as one. I went to Thunderbird/Firefox as I thought I wanted them separate but now I find I liked them together. Not as many apps to open...and Thunderbird and Firefox are slow to open on my machine.
