OMG! Fulvio. Cutting to the quick!!
Seriously, the whole idea behind ScienceSprings is that the U.S. is an over sized contributor to basic scientific research world wide. Yet, it gets no press coverage. Did you know that almost one third of the people at CERN are from the U.S.? So, I follow all of the D.O.E. labs, NASA, BOINC, etc, and try to take the news to a wider world. Think about why in 1993 our (Democratic) Congress killed the Super Conducting Supercollider. We handed Europs and CERN the search for Higgs on a silver platter.
