I just auto updated to FF13. I've had a problem with all recent versions of Firefox. I use several websites that have content provided by application service providers. For example, my bank has an online bill payment system provided by a 3rd party asp. I log into the bank's secure website but when I select the bill pay feature provided by a 3rd party asp, the window is blank. On other sites I cannot view videos or photo files that are served via 3rd party asp's. I have gone thru all the settings in FF preferences and I haven't found anyway to get it to render asp-sourced files.

I'm using an iMac with OS 10.6.8. I don't have this problem when using Safari 5.1.7. I prefer using FIrefox and it would be nice to have FF set to render 3rd party content.

Anyone know what I'm not doing right with FF?

Can you give a link, as long as you don't have to login, first. There is no way to test, without seeing the site.

Are you running No Script? I was able to render the photos, but had to allow the page with No Script first.

Geffr, I don't know what No Script is and it didn't reveal itself when I tried to find it using Spotlight.

The above post by PaulD, "Flash Player 11.3 Problems", discusses his PC with FF13 that refuses to open Flash 11.3. I've had a similar problem on recent versions of FF with older versions of Flash and with the current 11.3 version.

I have Adblock Plus on FF and Adblock Safari on my Safari browser. I tried disabling ABP on FF and FF still won't open up photo files but it will open videos.

What operating system are you using? I am on XP SP3 & believe I have the latest Flash plug in.

BTW, while FF does NOT ship with No Script I consider it ESSENTIAL security & possibly FF's #1 advantage over other browsers (it stops most scripts from running unless you specifically allow them. I don't want to know how many times it's saved me from Malware!).

this page works fine on Firefox 13.0.1 (OS X Lion).

Do you happen to disable any JavaScript?

I can't see the photo gallery also and I'm on the latest FF. Just black rectangles here as well.

All, I had a thought on this. There is a recent (this past week) Oracle Java update. Those who are having the problem might want to try installing it.

Ah. I don't have any Java on my computer. Flash yes. Java, no.

I took a look, and the boxes were black, for a short time, but they filled in in a few seconds. I have the latest Java, and Flash. No Script, I don't have, and I had no Flash problems, before updating to 13.0.1, and none now.

Sounds to me that it is likely a java issue. More & more sites require it, & i don't like it.

I refuse to use Java. It shouldn't be necessary in this day and age.

I have Java (on browser) disabled most of the time. However, there are a few services (e.g. online webinar) that requires Java.
