From newsgroup:

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/cck/new/cck.xpi.zip

cck.xpi is in cck.xpi.zip

Note that this is not an extension so it is not uninstallable via extension manager. To uninstall it:

delete [tt]chrome.rdf[/tt], [tt]cck.jar[/tt], and the directory [tt]overlayinfo[/tt] from the [tt]chrome[/tt] directory.

Edit installed-chrome.txt in the chrome directory and remove the last line referencing cck.

Delete the file [tt]firefox-cck.js[/tt] in the [tt]defaults\pref[/tt] directory.

Then restart Firefox.

I'd love any feedback you have.

Obviously our intention in the future is to have some sort of wizard tool that does this customization, but this should give you an idea how to do it.

Well, at least the recently revived Mozilla CCK plans weren't just some flash in the pan
idea, that might have ended up being either ignored, and/or eventually abandoned.

Since this preliminary Firefox CCK is exactly that, preliminary, I'll wait until they've
created a wizard based CCK before I try to create any customised Firefox builds.

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
