Firefox: New Version | Unresponsive Script Issue

Postby FrankoSport » Tue 15 Jun, 2010 1:54 pm

Greetings ....

Have been using Firefox version 3.6.3 since its release, and I can't wait (much longer) for 3.7 or 4, whichever is next.

Will the next version address the "Unresponsive Script" error? I hope so, as I cannot, despite best advice, resolve the issue in 3.6.3.

Thanx-A-Lot, Frank-0-Sport

I have seen the error popping up, once in a while. All I need to do is to ignore it. Don't think that 3.7 or 4 would fix the issue. At this point, I think it may be a profile problem, because it happens only with one of three Firefoxes.
I have two 3.6.3, and the portable version has not shown the problem.
In other words, no big deal.
But, read the next post, of mine. It seemed to be associated with profile problems.

Greetings ...

An interesting thing has occurred for me -- read this reply of mine in another Sillydog Thread

Interesting, but it does not apply to me.
I have been using AVG for at least eight years. I will go back to the other profile, and run Firefox in Safe Mode. There is an outside chance that an addon is causing problems, although I do not recall having made any changes.

I don't know what it is about it, and I am not sure that I can login. Can you tell me what I should say? Today, the latest version of FF has come out, and it is 3.1.13. I have not had the unresponsive script, in a while. I have, also, stopped using AVG about ten days ago.
