Postby Lorraine » Mon 24 Nov, 2003 12:38 am

On November 22,2003
In Edmonton,Alberta, Canada, the Old Timers played two 15 minute periods outside in -25C temperature.
It was very cold. Oilers vs. Canadians.
Players such as Wayne Gretsky, Guy Lafleur,Fuhr, Russ Courtnall, and many others.
Score: Oilers 2 Canadians 0

Later, the NHL teams played a regular hockey game but outside.
Edmonton Oilers VS. Montreal Canadians.
Score: Montreal 4
Oilers 3

A good time was had by all, so it seems but rather
chilly and a bouncing puck ;-)

Attendance: 57,167 and remember this was outdoors. Temp. -25 C
