I, just, read this article. It seems pertinent.

So, the author of the article (Fred Langa) knew very aware that there are plenty of fake virus/malware warning and bogus virus/malware scanning pop-ups over the websites.

Then, he decided to test out exactly what the "LizaMoon" can do. for this part, I praise his brave.

In his finding, "LizaMoon" can disable Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE), managed to disable the relaunching of MSE. He then used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and MSE to remove the malware. for this part, I am a bit disappointed. Basically, he did not fully experiment with the LizaMoon. LizaMoon might be able to perform a lot more tasks besides some windows dialogues.

He hope he managed the "LizaMoon" experience in a virtual machine, despite he said that he applied four scanners afterwards to verify his machine is clean.
