. Kind of too bad you have to grow up and learn it isn't majestic trees making the wind blow...
Probably the most ignorant way I thought things were done before I found out how they really worked: When I was a kid and we would go for a drive, I was always in the backseat. When dad would pull out of the driveway, he would look back, and was constantly making tiny adjustments to the steering wheel (more so than when driving forward). I thought making small, quick left<>right movements with the steering wheel made the car go backwards instead of forwards.
