I'm a newbie to web design
, having just poked my head out the door after 20 years of print design.
I'm using GL5 to make some no-frames, floating-box endowed pages. When I preview in the authoring software, my simple home-page loading animations look fine... all hidden elements become visible (and some hidden again along the timeline) as intended. Same thing in IE5. Looks great.
NS7 (7.02 Mac OS9) loads all visible items, but does nothing with the animation. Communicator 4.6 (.68 I think?) on a friend's laptop on our LAN also works for the animation (though I discovered the flawless transparency capabilities of PNG-24 format graphics is not supported
I can revisit the graphics – change them to GIFs I guess
Thanks,
Terry
