Hard Reset of PDA

Postby Tombrazell » Thu 24 Feb, 2005 2:24 pm

I know this is elementary, but I have never had to do it before. How do you do a hard reset of a Palm IIIc?

I dont know but you may want to try holding the power button between 8-15 seconds and if it has a removable battery you may have to take that off.

This might be different on a IIIc, but I know that on my Tungsten E and my old m125 this works. Hold down the power button and insert something into the Reset hole in back. It should now ask you if you want to delete everything, scroll up with the up button to accept or any other key to reject.

AFAIK, the IIIc ran on AAA batteries, so I would just reccomend leaving the batteries out for awhile, usually anywhere from a minute (like on my m125) to as much as a day on higher-end models.
