Ah... and don't forget picturesque Quincy, Mass.

It appears that you had a very enjoyable vacation. I'm assuming you are home (Sydney) now... correct? When you have time, perhaps you could put in a few pictures for us.

A couple of shots for you:

This is the Waimea Canyon - the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. It's located on Kauai.

Very nice photos James.

Of course I won't forget the picturesque Quincy. (And thank you, finally someone agrees with me on picturesque Quincy.)

Sorry for the delay in posting photos. I, unfortunately, had a busy week.

Here are some photos.

And, please excuse my broken English. Allow me to try my best on complicating the sentences. ;)
This lighthouse shaped lighthouse named Island Point Lighthouse is no longer operational as a lighthouse. The lighthouse shaped lighthouse's lighthouse duty is replaced by a non lighthouse shaped ‘lighthouse’ stuck halfway on a communication tower as pictured below. The non lighthouse shaped ‘lighthouse’ has two lights actually. The lighthouse shaped lighthouse (i.e. the original lighthouse) is preserved without the original lens for the light.
Got it?

(In case you are confused due to my broken English, Island Point Lighthouse turned off in 1997, and the new light was mounted on a communications tower nearby.)

Great pictures, Antony, and thanks for the explanation of the lighthouse (LOL).

I absolutely LOVE the first picture of the fish. This would make an excellent framed picture for a bathroom or foyer. Consider doing this. It's just beautiful.

Thank you for spending time deciphering my broken English.

Thank you for the picture framing idea. I have been a bit lazy on printing my own photos recently. (I do have a photographic A3+ size printer.)

Forgot to post this one:
Taken on Monday on Thursday Island. Hence I titled it "Monday's sunset on Thursday Island."

If you look at the photo locations map on previous page of this thread, Thursday Island is where the top drop pin is.

What a glorious sunset. You and Laurent must have had a wonderful time. It sure looks picturesque... almost as lovely as Quincey! :)
