Help! Windows 2000 Policy questions

Postby robbo007 » Mon 02 Jun, 2003 6:20 am

Hello all,

I have one domain created with a handful of Windows 2000 servers. I have two sites connected by a WAN link.

Each site is defined and setup correctly.

I have one Global Catalogue Server (GC) in site 1 and in site 2 a domain controller (DC) and citrix metaframe server with published apps for site 1.

I have setup a container for my group policy in site 1 and added the users I want that policy to apply too. All the users from site 1 are happily logging in with their policy and roaming profile.

The problem is if a user from site 1 logs into a server in site 2, for example the citrix server it's grabbing the group policy from site 1 and applying it.

I want to basically separate the policies for each site and stop a policy from site 1 being applied if the user logs into a server in site 2.

Any help would be great as I am a tad lost.

Cheers,

Rob
