How do I convert Real Audio Files?

Postby slmc1949 » Sun 17 Aug, 2003 2:10 pm

I have seen lots of programs that convert MP3 to Wav and back etc.

But I have a lot of real audio files (.ram/.ra not streaming audio) and can find no way to convert them to MP3 to transfer them to my MP3 player. I am told the old Real Jukebox did that but I have Real One and can't find the jukebox.

Does anyone have a program that convert Real Audio files on my hard drive to MP3?

Have you tried a Google search for "ram mp3 convert"?

Yes and it comes up with "Streambox ripper", but that company no longer produces that option because real sued them on patent violation and it was removedStreambox ripper". There a lot of enquiries and no real anaswers. A lot of the leads claim to relate to real convert so a google search seems promising but they end up only doing mp3/wav convert

edit-someone in another forum sent me link to a program

I have found a new one instead of streambox ripper.
Mini-stream Ripper
http://www.mini-stream.com
It is the best music converter I have ever used after Streambox Ripper.

If you're still interested in RealJukebox, you can always download it at www.oldversion.com
