Using IMAC G3 OS9+, I upgraded to NS/7.0 (for mail) only to discover it's not possible to drag/drop images (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Then the act of deleting 50+ old emails, fried my computer.

After reformating - my tech guy installed NS/4.8 - it's a little creaky, but it works.

Can anyone tell me how far I can upgrade and keep the drag/drop image feature?
