How to Edit HTML GEAR??

Postby Lorraine » Tue 05 Aug, 2003 11:35 pm

Hi:
I have an HTML Gear Guestbook on my webpage.
There are only a few people that signed it as it is just on
the second page and I have one of those water applets which
probably take some time to D/L for dial up users.

There is an entry in my Guestbook which I would like to remove.
I know there used to be a way to remove them, but I don't know how to now as with an URL I have, it shows a 404 error.

Someone put an Url for a PORN site, I believe it might be.
I didn't click on it. It's in Geocities.
I would like to remove it. There are only 4 or 5 entries.
I don't even remember putting the guestbook there. I have never noticed it being there before.
Of course it's ages since I made that webpage with Composer.
It was when Composer first came out I think.

Maybe someone can tell me how to remove it? I looked on the HTML Gear site but I can't find anything about editing.
I don't think I can get it from my File Manager.
I have to fix the webpage also for the W3C if I ever find out how! Thanks
-Lorraine

You should log in as the administrator of your Guestbook, and after that you'll probably be able to edit or delete the line.
