ibook problems - browser

hi - i'm new and green to it all - i have a mac ibook running 0s 9.1 with interent explorer but have problems downloading some sites (eg. www.hsbc.com.br & www.betfair.com) - they just don't work - i tried downloading new browser but saw i needed a different os ? can i easily upgrade os online? any help appreciated...toby

Well, you can't legally upgrade to OS X online, you need to go buy it in a store or online from Apple or a reseller. In the meantime, the most recent browser that you can download for MacOS 9 is Mozilla 1.3.1 WaMCom, which is basically an unofficial version of Mozilla 1.3.1 that was ported to Mac OS 9 with a few Mozilla 1.4a additions.
