IE 8 installs and runs with no surprises

Postby richard mitnick » Fri 20 Mar, 2009 11:14 am

I just installed IE8 on one machine. No surprises, it brought everything over from IE7, including Roboform.

Some writers, critics, bloggers, have commented on speed. Some say FF is still faster, others say IE8. I noticed no material differences.

Good to know that. Thanks for posting.

(In my installation of Windows XP under Parallels Desktop for Mac, it is still IE6.)

We still use IE 6 here at school, with no service packs, and it is horrible.
