Hi, I had a question for anyone knows. I really don't like active desktop and I was wondering if I used it on XP and then re-installed IE if I would have any problems. I know once I made the mistake of using IEradicator on Windows 2000 after the second service pack but once I re-installed IE all was well and I still seemed to have no active desktop. My CD-ROM had ceased working but seemed fine once IE was back.. I know LitePC has claimed to be putting out a version of IEradicator for XP, the only thing I've seen was the statement they put up telling people not to ask about it anymore. That's been like a year ago... Any info that could help would be appreciated. Thanx

There is no way to remove IE from Windows XP, without breaking the OS. I don't see why you'd want to remove it now, so many applications require it.
