I hope somebody here can help.

I recently upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.2 and since then I cannot get any images to display.

Under View, Message Body is set to Original HTML and Display Attachments Inline is checked. I've searched on Mozilla Messaging and not of the suggestions for changes suggested to be made via Config Editor have worked either. I'm stumped and not being able to display images is really becoming problematic.

I'm running XP Srv. Pack 3. I use Zone Alarm and AVG.

I did not have this problem with 2.0.x so the problem being with those security programs seems doubtful to me.

I really don't want to go back to a 2.0.x version because I like the features in 3.1.x but if I can't find an answer to this problem I may not have any other choice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 3.1.x as well as 2.0.x. But, I checked only 3.1.x. I would like to know if you wish to see images, automatically, or you can't see them, at all. Most e-mails show a toolbar, just above the message content, and you can click on Show Remote Control, and images will appear. I think that it is possible to select images from the particular e-mail, without having to bring up images every time. To me, this is normal, and I am pretty sure that 2.o.x is the same. I did not see any options to bring images automatically.
Now, if the problem is with all e-mails, I have no answer. I can see messages with visible attachments in the body of the e-mail.
