inline PDF display problem

According to a thread in Whirlpool, users of Intel-based Macs will need to run Firefox under Rosetta in order to get Adobe Reader plugin or Schubert|it PDF Browser Plugin to work within browser (inline display).

Mozilla Firefox is available as a Universal Binary application, but Adobe Reader and Schubert|it PDF plugins are not.

Camino downloads PDF files to desktop without problem.

Users of Intel-based Mac can use Safari to read PDF files (with OS X's built-in Preview) or save the PDF file to desktop instead of reading it inside a browser window.

Rosetta is a lightweight dynamic translation emulator for Mac OS X, it enables users of Intel-based Macs to run most PowerPC based applications.
