Installing RAM

Postby DudeBro36 » Thu 26 Feb, 2004 8:57 pm

Hey, can anybody tell me if I can install more RAM into my PowerBook G3? I have Mac OS 9 on it now and I would like to upgrade to OS X Jaguar but apparently it requires 128Mb and I only have 64mb. Is it possible to install more? If so, could you tell me what kind of memory I need to get? Thanks a lot I appriciate it.

I don't know about physically upgrading a PowerBook, but I do know that Mac OS X needs
quite a lot more than 128MB RAM to run efficiently. Most existing Mac OS X users (myself
included) would recommend at least 256MB RAM for the new generation of the Mac OS.

Meanwhile, you may find this Google search useful . . .

Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
