names pete, am in australia, found this forum via a poster in a n/g.
I'm very interested and concerned about these desktop.ini files and all things associated with microsofts interest in hiding stuff from purchasers of their products.
I havent had time to read posts within the forum and probably wont catch up fully for a few weeks, but I will try.
