As mentioned by Steve Jobs during September 1 Special Event, Apple has released iOS 4.1 iPhone and iPod touch users. Bringing Game Center, iTunes TV show rentals, iTunes Ping new features, new HDR (high dynamic range) photography and HD video uploading to YouTube and MobileMe features directly from iPhone 4. iPhone 3G performance issue has also been addressed.
iOS 4.1 is available for the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and second- and third-generation iPod touch models. HDR photography and HD video uploading are only available on iPhone 4. Game Center is not available on iPhone 3G.
