Apple today announced lowing the price for iPhone.

iPhone 8GB model has dropped the price from US$599 to just US$399. The iPhone 4GB model will be sold while stock last.

iPhone was originally priced at US$499 (4GB) and US$599 (8GB).

The new price for 8GB model will be even cheaper than the 4GB model at US$399.

If you rushed for the iPhone when it first released, you might be disappointed with the price cut yesterday. Here's a good news for you. Apple is crediting back $100 for early iPhone adapters.

I have received hundreds of emails from iPhone customers who are upset about Apple dropping the price of iPhone by $200 two months after it went on sale.

Therefore, we have decided to offer every iPhone customer who purchased an iPhone from either Apple or AT&T, and who is not receiving a rebate or any other consideration, a $100 store credit towards the purchase of any product at an Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store.
