Is there a problem with the 16 bit versions of Netscape 4.x?

Hi,
Is there a problem with the 16 bit versions of Netscape 4.x?
I am just wondering.
Reason: On Faster systems like 1.x and 2.x ghz processors they crash bit the 16 bit versions of Netscape 3.x and below do not have this problem.
It is only Communicator aned navigator 4.x.
I know I am stupid for trying to run 16 bit programs in the first place but I love older software.
Am I the only one that has this problem?
Is there a bug in this software?
Is it not designed to run on faster systems.

Out of curiosity, are you running the 16-bit Netscape versions on Windows 3.1x or on a newer Windows version?

Since the fastest computer I've run the 16-bit version of Netscape Navigator 4.08 on was a 66MHz 486, there's not much I can add to this discussion.

I think it has to do 98 allowing 16 bit but really has problems with it sometimes. I think 16 bit programs run best on windows 3.1 to early 98 releases but from 98 se up the 16 bit programs start to have conflicts due to lack of really giving as much support for them that the previous operating systems did.
