Actually I know that VNC it meant to remotely access another desktop. That is completely and utterly different from a VPN, which is acessing another network connection in a similar method to a proxy. (I use RealVNC myself, too)

I run with a Cisco 1700 series router with built-in VPN. Users with VNC viewers access the VPN in that fashion. There's more to it than that , Firewall issues and security, etc., but that will suffice nicely for now. Please don't attempt to lecture me in this venue as I am Cisco Certified and there are many many tricks in the trade. Antony will tell you this on AIM, won't he? Whether or not I say VPN or VNC, it doesn't matter does it. You're attempting to pick a fight where none exists.

Just to sum up once again ... DrDean is a real person living in Canda and accesses the net through my <whatever you wish to call it> and thereby exhibits the same connection IP as everyone else on my system, including me. And THAT is what led Antony down the wrong assumption path, the same IP when registering and posting here.

What really ticked me off is that Antony could have had the common decency and courtesy to private mail me with related questions, but as we all know, that didn't happen, did it.

What I remember saying in THIS thread is that DrDean was the Dean of the School of Clinical Psychology at a major universtiy in Europe, not France. And I know where Quebec is. DrDean hasn't died yet so she hasn't lived there all her life yet. She was born in Europe somewhere where she spent most of her childhood only to move to Canada with her husband after both retired.

Yes, I remember all the emails and the warnings. You notified me publicly and the others privately. It was a long time ago.

I also remember when my son died and I made a post a few days later and you removed it. You said, "Sorry, you didn't know, I should have told you. " How was I supposed to tell you. You blocked me from your addy, remember?

I know that Dantu used to remove me all the time, along with some others. As an administrator, it should be posted who the moderators are that are able to cancel posts or messages. I know Jeanne knew how to do it, but she said she would never cancel anyone. I believe her, at least she does know about computers.

Otherwise, I only know of Dantu &probably Sharonwho cancelled. The day I was cancelled, Dantu was removing me continually after calling me a liar. I was furious. He's not a man, he wouldn't let me write my response.

I am quite happy using IE/OE even tho' I have a lot of problems. But at least I can get help in annexcafe.com and I have learned quite a lot since being in there. But I was thinking of downloading 1.7.12 to try it out, but now I know I won't.

I know where Kenner is, but all of Texas is going to get tornados and flooding according to CNN. So just figured you knew someone in Seattle, perhaps San Francisco who would be willing to put up with you for a few weeks maybe.

I told you that Kenner is a twin city of LaSalle which is part of Montreal now, since it merged last year or so.

So let's bring up the banning of Antony as an example. At first, yes, Antony was banned on the UFAQ, it was my doing, I did it .. on purpose. It was only meant to last for a day or so but I forgot about it. A while later, don't remember how long it was, Antony decided to make a big deal about here in this forum. I denied it simply because I had forgotten about it. But then I did remember doing it and I told Antony exactly that. So what do you think Antony did to "prove" his point. He enlisted the aid of one of his cohorts to UNETHICALLY access my .htaccess file, send it to Antony after which Antony posted it for all the public to see. For those of you that don't know what a .htaccess file is, it is a file that contains IP addresses that are denied access to my UFAQ and yes, his IP was in the list but later removed. Although the file is accessible, someone has to KNOW that it's there AND how to access it. Antony does, of course. My point is that Antony had no business snooping around my server as it is a code of ethics between ISP's and administrators that you JUST DON'T DO THAT sorta thing.

I am simply to the point of no return regarding my anger toward Antony Shen. After I angered Antony, several related hacks happened on my website. I must warn you Antony, if things like this continue, I will immediately contact the US FBI and hands over all server access logs and contact your host regarding your illegal behavior.
