Hi Guys and Gals

My wife and I are heading out tomorrow for Hawaii. Not taking her laptop. We both want a rest from our computers. Hope to get some decent pictures. Take care and talk with y'alls later.

Does this mean that we are not having dinner on the 24th?

Not at all. This is a BYOT affair. He is expecting you. Be on time: watch the time zones.

We're Back!

Postby James » Tue 30 Sep, 2008 10:30 pm

We spent a week on the Big Island (mostly at Kona and a night in Hilo) and then four days in Maui. While both are beautiful islands, Maui is spectacular. Next year if all goes well, we'll hop between Maui and Kauai. We've been to Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii before and loved them both but this was my first trip to Maui. The pictures will come so be patient; we only drove in a few hours ago and we both have to go to work tomorrow. It's going to take time messing with the images in PS and then uploading to Photobucket but it will happen over the next few weeks. We did two luaus, the better of which was the Old Laheina Luau on the island of Maui. We also drove to the volcano, visited a tropical garden, took a dinner/dance cruise and just lay around the pool. Good stuff! I highly recommend it. Anyway, thanks for the good wishes (and prayers for our safety - I still get nervous about flying over large bodies of water! LOL). :)
