Wow, that is helpful!

Anyways, back on topic.

Got Ubuntu installed, all is going well.
I may try running Anniversary in wine later.

Goodie. You know you can run PSX games on Linux (natively via an emulator) via the pSX emulator. You'll need a BIOS though.

Yes, I know. But I also have a fully functional PS 1 sitting across from me on top of my dresser, which is much easier to configure. A/V Port Splitter>3>Turn TV to right Channel>Pop in disc>Load>Play!

I guess this is one place where I'm more "technically enhanced". But I'll agree with you. There's nothing like the FEEL of playing the game/running the system. Something emulators can't "emulate".

Well, this proves it. I went back to Windows. Right now I am at school, and last night at about 2:00 in the morning, after laying in bed, with the on going fight in my mind of "Linux or Windows?" I finally gave up, dug the re-install disc out of the trash and reinstall vista.

Fail.

That always happens to me. Stick with Windows, but run Linux in a VM. VirtualBox or VMWare (Server). VPC is iffy with Linux as it doesn't support 24-bit color.
