You need to activate Netscape's Quick Launch feature. This feature loads
part of the Netscape application into memory when Windows boots up, in
a similar way to IE. This is why IE starts up so quickly, it gets pre-loaded
when Windows is starting up. To enable the NS7 Quick Launch feature,
go to: - Edit - Preferences - Advanced - Enable Quick Launch.

You should then get a Netscape icon appear in your Windows system tray.
This will appear everytime you start Windows, so that next time you start
up Netscape 7.0, it'll appear instantly, rather than in a minute. You can
disable Quick Launch in the same way it was enabled, or by simply
right-clicking the Netscape icon in the system tray, and selecting
the option "Disable Quick Launch". (Try doing that with IE!)

You can't. I was making a point, in a way. You can switch off Netscape's
pre-loading feature, but unfortunately, you can't do the same with the
pre-loader in IE, unless you completely uninstall IE from Windows.
