locating and transferring netscape files

Postby doraoh » Wed 10 Dec, 2003 8:58 pm

I just bought a new IMAC, using OS 10. I want to transfer my address book, bookmarks and email files to my new netscape folder but can't find any of this stuff. There is a user profile folder in the essential files folder, but when I click it it launches a box that has my name and guest, and then when I click my name, the program launches. Can anyone help? ALso, sorry to be so uninformed about this kind of thing, but how do I reply to posts made in reply to my queries?

If you use Netscape 7, try http://sillydog.org/netscape/kb/plocation.html

To transfer files, try this: http://sillydog.org/netscape/kb/addrbook.html althought it is for Windows, it might still be helpful. I will see if I can add Macintosh instructions.

Scroll down a bit, and click "post reply" will do. (unless thread locked)
