MAC 4.8 user.js file

Postby rk » Wed 31 Mar, 2004 8:02 pm

Trying to alter author wrote line in 4.8 reply email. Created user.js file in profile folder with script, shows in about:config but doesn't work. Any clues? Thanks to all suggestions.

Right now the first line in a 4.8 reply email looks like this:

Elsewhere on this site instructions are posted on creating a user.js file in the profile folder with script. I created the user.js file it shows in the about:config file but doesn't work.

Thanks again for any suggestions.

I don't know if it is a Mac issue. I will try to get some Mac user to take a look at this. I have done nothing at all, and I am getting this:
In a message dated 3/11/2004 9:33:39 AM Central Standard Time, xxxxxx writes: The multi X is the address of the sender. But, I wonder if it depends on the ISP.
I have set up AOL, and I get no quote, and Netscape Webmail gives the e-mail address whites. Now, I am getting interested.
