Mac Opera interface changes

Postby Anonymosity » Wed 16 May, 2012 3:54 pm

Is there any way to set up a stylesheet in Opera to change font sizes in the interface? The fonts in the toolbars, tab bar, addressfield and search box are all too small, and there is still no way to get that to change using settings for Mac Opera, since those are ignored. I need the equivalent of the Firefox userChrome.css file for Opera.

I don't have answer for you. But I found the font size used in Opera interface are about the same as other browsers. As I suggested before, you can decrease the screen resolution of your monitor or put the monitor closer to you.

Hardly satisfactory, and seems a bit primitive, since I am able to change the font size for Firefox with a userChrome stylesheet. Why cannot other browsers for Mac OS allow the change to font size to be done? I would like to know how to increase the font size in Safari as well.

As a general speaking, Firefox is heavily used by college students, and many of those are pretty extreme in terms of demanding tweaking-ability as well as demanding the "open source" label.

Firefox chose to make its interface tweak-able by abandoning native application interface of the operating system, it does not mean that other browsers must follow the suit.
