Mac OS X 10.6.1 "Snow Leopard" update released.

Postby DJGM » Thu 10 Sep, 2009 5:48 pm

Less than a fortnight since Apple released the new Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" upgrade, they have now
released the first update. Mac OS X 10.6.1 is now available on the Apple support site from the links below.

Download Mac OS X 10.6.1 update for desktops, or for servers. Both are just over 71MB.

Alternatively, check the Software Update option in the Apple logo menu on your Mac.

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Thanks DJGM.

Meanwhile, Apple also released Security Update 2009-005 for Tiger PPC, Tiger Intel, Tiger Server (Univ and PPC) and Leopard (v.10.5.8) users.

As for me, my main machine is still running on Mac OS X 10.5.8 'Leopard', not 'Snow Leopard'.

And Apple shipped an updated version of Flash, which is a very good news. People who purchased Snow Leopard have an old, vulnerable Flash version

And Mozilla Firefox thinks that all Mac OS X users have outdated Flash.
