Malfunction in the login page

Postby mauricepnut » Sun 26 Jul, 2009 6:24 am

I just made a post: "where is that virus checker?"
geffr replied to it but I could not continue the thread because when I clicked on the "add reply" button a login window opened! I logged in again, but I wasn't returned to my post. I had to navigate around to find it, then I tried again the "add reply" button, but it brought the same vicious circle.

Something is not working correctly on sillydog site. Please note.

geffr suggested that "Dr.Web anti-virus link checker 1.0.20" might be a malware. This is worrying as I understand that this is an add-on from Firefox. Can anyone confirm?

Go back, and see my reply. I never was urged to download what you say, but, there is, as I pointed out an add-on which is no more than a link to Dr.Web online antivirus link.
The way you stated your concern did not tell the entire story. As far as I am concerned, if you have a good antivirus software, you do not need an online scanner.

Thank you for reporting.

The problem was most likely due to cookies or sessions (session ID) being expired.
