Menu Bar In Mozilla 1.1

Postby Mike of Sheffield » Fri 08 Nov, 2002 7:11 pm

Looking for a little help if possible.

Whilst browsing via Mozilla 1.1 today my Menu Bar disappeared from the top of the screen. I've recovered it now, but have realised that there must be a key combination to toggle this on & off and I don't know what it is. I am sure that it's something obvious (to everyone but me) but the Help page hasn't (helped).

But as well as that - for some reason my View drop-down menu has stopped dropping down. Whether I click on 'View', hover over it after dropping another menu, or press Alt-V, noting appears. The View button is depressed but no menu. :(

Can anyone enlighten me??

I do not know about the View staying depressed. Has it been like that since day one or two? But you can lose very easily the toolbars if you stray too far from the edge, there is a vertical "thingy" on the far left, and if you click on it, you will not see the toolbar, until you click on on the now horizontal thingy. And, you can make more than one toolbar disappear, and then reappear (hopefully).

Mozilla 1.1 and Menu Bar / Toolbars

Postby Mike of Sheffield » Sat 09 Nov, 2002 5:22 am

Thanks Fulvio - your prompt allowed me to find the "Thingies" for the toolbars. I hadn't noticed them before (they're pretty unobtrusive) and I guess I must have clicked them without realising it. Have now familiarised myself with them all and confirmed that all work properly. :D

As it happens, this has also replaced my drop-down View menu : don't ask me why but it has!
