POP star Michael Jackson will not seek to make a financial settlement with the family of the boy he is accused of sexually molesting, his lawyer said in an interview aired today.

"There will be no settlement as long as I am around," celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos told ABC news, suggesting that the alleged victim's family is only interested in the superstar's money.

"If this was not about money, why out of the 175,000 active lawyers in California does this family find themselves in the office of the one person who's shaken down my client previously for money?" he asked.

"If it were my son and my son was molested, I would go to the police, not a money lawyer," he said.

I don't know about everyone else but most of the people in my home town have a lot different outlook on this issue (if you take the hint) I don't know if he is guilty or not but anyone who dagles his kid out the window deserves to be in jail!

no i don't think so he had a reason for that and which is that they need to learn someday but i think he tried to when his son was a little to young

Lisa Marie Presley released a statement early today clarifying the remarks, saying she never saw her ex-husband, Michael Jackson, engage in inappropriate behaviour with children.

"I was in no way referring to seeing something inappropriate with children, as I have stated publicly before. I never have," Presley said in a statement released by her Los Angeles publicist, Paul Bloch.

the thing is we will most likely never know unless micheal jackson himself comes clean, other wise i guess that we will never know the whole story..

i say he should be in jail, no matter what yal say. thats my opinion, hes a pervert and a pedifile and deserves to be in jail.

He IS innocent until proven guilty. No matter what anyone thinks.

Even if found innocent of the charges, he might still end up as O.J. did,
guilty in in Civil suit.

I believe Michael Jackson is not the kind of person to harm children. Look at all the charitable work he has done over the years helping kids with cancer and aids among other things. He has donated millions of his own money into more organisations than any other person. The only other person I can think of who comes even close to the contributions of Michael Jackson was the late Princess Diana.
