Missing Codecs in ubuntu

Postby iJohnE » Thu 17 Jul, 2008 9:35 am

I have just installed Ubuntu on my Compaq. Now, I am missing two codecs, one to play DVDs and one to play MP3s etc. Now, that computer is not currently connected to the internet, and may not be for a while. Now, is it possible for me to download the codecs onto my flash drive and install them?
