Missing e-mail

Postby patsman47 » Wed 06 Nov, 2002 12:05 pm

I have an install of communicator 4.77. When I get new messages SOME messages do not seem to be transfered from my ISP. If I got to my ISP and check my mailbox there with their webmail feature I see ALL messages yet some do not transfer to MY inbox in the e-mail client of communicator.

I AM certain that view is set to all and I have deleted inbox.snm and I am still not retrieving all messages.

Any suggestions?

Walt

Walt,
I do not have a clue, but what is happening to you is similar to what is happening with my external Mailer. What do you have set in your ISP/rdit for frequency of checking mail. If you have 10 min or more, then I am baffler, but if have a very short span of time, and you get plenty of mail, you could have problem. Some people are so anxious that they set the checking to every minute. Most servers do not like it.
