The computer I am using has Netscape 4.5, but I also have 4.73 on another computer in my home I would like to update the 4.5 to the 4.73 and would like to know the best way to do so. The computer with 4.73 has a cd burner as does the one with 4.5.

You will need the download file. It does not work to try to copy all the files.
However, 4.73 is out dated, and 4.79 or 4.8 the latest. Ideally, you should uninstall 4.5, first, rather than installing on top of it, as it used to be done. No useful file will be removed, when you uninstall.

Thanks for the info. Now, I have another question. Where can I download the files? The reason I want to use an older version is because I ran into a problem with Netscape 7.1, which I also have installed, in the fact that I am unable to save my emails to disc. I can, but only if I do them one at a time, and with an older version I can flag as many as I want and use the, File, then Save As commands to save. Also, it seemed that with 4.73 there weren't as many limitations when I was surfing.
ANYWAY!!! I am one that if I find something that works, I want it to stay that way.

You can find all Netscape Communicator releases at SillyDog701 Netscape Browser Archive, including version 4.73.
